Skirts

These skirts are the newest ones I've created.

Cutaway Butterfly Wrap skirt
I used a peach batik as the main fabric for this skirt
For the butterfly applique I used a pink/lavender handpainted
fabric( this fabric has a slight shimmer) A dark and pale green batiks.
For the flower and vine I used a the sqame pink handpainted fabric
a brown batik, and the dark green batik. The butterfly applique is
cut away from the bottom edge of the skirt, so it turns the botoom edge of
the butterfly into part of the hem :)

Aussie spirit figures wrap skirt
I used a beautiful black based australian fabric
to make this skirt. The print has little spirit figures throughout
and different sizes circular patterns. The colors are green, black,tan
cream, blue.

Sunset Pond Apron Skirt
I used a blue/green leaf print batik as the main fabric for this skirt
The apron is detachable with two wooden buttons along the front
waitband. The apron is made out of a handpainted sunset fabric.
The colors are blue, white, rusty oranges. For the mountain, shore, and
plant appliques I used shades of brown batiks, green and white hemp.

V-panel random patch wrap skirt
I used a varitey and shades of green, blue, brown, cream, gray
to make up the patchwork for this skirt. The patchwork is cut
into v shaped panel on the front and back of the skirt. To finish the
skirt I used a soft/blue/gray linen to go between the patchwork panels.

Purple mountain scene Skirt
I used a purple batik as the main fabric for this skirt.
The v shaped panel in the front is done using a purple/
cream, peach,rosey pink handpainted fabric for the sky
For the water i used a blue/green/white handpainted fabric.
The mountains are done in various shades of purple
batiks. For the trees I used a gray/brown bark print fabric.

Spring Bird wrap skirt
I used a dark green batik as the main fabric for this skirt.
The waist band and ties are done in a tan hemp/tencel
I embriodered a bird sitting on a tree branch along the front of the skirt.
The leaves are done a green cotton, and a white hemp.
The bird is done using various shades of brown thread, and the branch
is done in a dark brown thread.

aboriginal footprint wrap skirt
For this skirt I used a australian fabric that has tiny
black foots throughout the skirt. The pattern also has
flowers and circular patterns in the boomerang shaped
forms on the skirt. The base color of the fabric is gray.
I added a large lined pocket along the side of the skirt :)

Spirit circle wrap skirt
For this skirt I used an australian fabric which has
circular patterns all over it in shades of green, white
black. This is one of my fav. fabrics!!

Spirit of the tree Spirt
I used a white hemp/rayon as the main fabric for this skirt
The v shaped panels are done in a blue/green/white tree print
fabric. in the front center of the skirt i appiqued a tree with the truck in
the shape of a woman. The applique is done in brown and two shades of green batiks.

I used a rose shade based aussie fabric to make this skirt.
I pattern on the skirt contains red, pink, black, mustard,
pale yellow dots and swirled patterns. I added a large lined
pocket to the side of the skirt

Spring leaves Wrap Skirt
I used a olive green stretch hemp as the main fabric
for this skirt. I waist band and ties are done in a dark brown
gauze. I appliqued a vine with leaves and flower buds all
along the waist line of the skirt. The applique is done in various
green batiks, and a purple batik for the flower buds.

Random patchwork wrap skirt
I used a various shades of brown, green, blue, cream, tan,
gray, white batiks and hemps to make up this skirt.
The waistband, ties and bottom ruffle are done in a olive
green hemp. I added a lined patchwork pocket to the side
of the skirt.

Apple Of the Woods Apron Skirt
I used a spruce blue/green batik as the main
fabric for this skirt. For the apron part I used a
gray/blue batik for the sky, brown/green/gray handpainted
fabric for the ground. The creeek is done with a blue/green/brown
handpainted fabric. The rocks are done in a gray batik, and
a hemp/yak hair fabric. For the trees I used a dark brown batik,
a cream batik, and a bark print fabric. I embroidred two bushes
among the rocks and a deer walking through the woods. The apron is attached to the skirt with two wooden buttons. So you can take the apron off :)

Falling Leaves Wrap Skirt
I used a tan linen as the main fabric for this wrap skirt
The waistband and wrap ties are done in a brown cotton.
I added a lined pocket using the tan linen.
I spent many, many, manyyyy hours embroidering leaves
along one side of the skirt. The leaves are done in various
thread shades of browns, greens, yellows, peach, silver,
rose.

Snow in the Valley Apron Skirt
I used a light brown batik as the main fabric for the skirt.
The bottom tier is done in a olive green fine wale corduroy.
For the apron part I used a handpainted fabric for the sky.
The mountains are done in various shades of brown batiks.
The ground and snow are done in a olive green corduroy, cream
batik, and a brown batik fabric

Night Trees Apron skirt
I used a olive green linen as the main fabric for
this skirt. The apron is detachable and is done using
a handpainted painted fabric. The fabric depicts a night
sky with trees along the bottom of the fabric. The paint
colors are shades of green, yellow, blue, silver, pink.
The fabric for the apron is a black pima cotton.
