Tops

These are some new tops that I've recently created. To view many other tops in different styles, colors and designs click on the Gallery - Tops page.

I used a purple/magenta stretch mohair to make this sweater.
The sleeves are 3/4 and have a slight elastic gather at the hem.
On the turtle neck collar I appliqued a butterfly using orange, brownm peach batiks.
Measurements:
   Bust: 35-38 inches
   Sleeve Length: 17 inches
   Length: 24 inches
   Hip: 47 inches

I used a soft open weave brown, cream gray mohair to make this sweater.
The sweater has a shawl collar that wraps across the front and closes with two dark
brown toggle buttons.
The sleeves have a slight elastic gather at the hem.

   Bust: 34-37 inches
   Length: 26 1/2 inches
   Sleeve length: 24 inches
   Hips: 48 inches

I used a dark brown super soft and warm fleece to make this hoodie.
The outside of the fleece is smooth,the inside is textured and billowey fleece.
The hoodie closes with four large buttons, and there are two fleece pockets along the front.
I added four maple leaf appliques along the top eddge of the hood using a multi cream color batik.
Measurements:

I used a light brown, light weight wool to make this top.
I added a lined pouch pocket to the front of the top. The collar
folds over and splits at the side. I appliqued a oak leaf to the front
of the collar using a white hemp fabric.
Measurements:
   Bust: 34 inches and under
   Sleeve length: 24 inches
   Length: 27 inches
   Hip: 45 inches

I used a light brown knit to make this top. The upper bodice
and sleeve are done in a dark green finely ribbed knit. The sleeves
are 3/4 in length and are slightly gathered half way down. The bottom
of the top is finished off with a light brown knit band.
Measurements:
   Bust: 40 inches and under
   sleeve: 19 1/2 inches
   Hip: 52 inches

I used a dark brown extremely soft wool to make this coat. The coat is fully lined
in a batting back satin quilted fabric. The coat is extremely warm!!!
The front of the coat closes with four large wood buttons. I added two pockets
lined in a red organic cotton. The leaf and vine appliques go around the middle
of the coat and across the front of the hood. The applique was done using a red
organic cotton.
The coat has princess seaming and dips slightly lower on the back hem.

I used a very soft finely ribbed green knit as the main fabric for this top.
The sleeves are done in a slightly textured brown knit. The neckline is very drapey, swoop neckline,
almost laying like a cowl neck. The added some cutaway applique leaves around the neck, down the front side,
and coming down one sleeve using brown, orange and a muliticolor batik fabrics.
Measurements:
   Bust: 38 inches and under
   length: 25 inches
   sleeve length: 24 inches

I used a very soft finely ribbed knit to make this top. The neckline is very drapey, almost
laying like a cowl neck. I did a cutaway flower on the back of the neckline using a white hemp.
The flower was first appliqued, cut out, then stitched down through the center of each petal
onto the top.
Measurements:

I used a red knit as the main fabric for this top. The sleeve hems and pouch
are made out of a brown, green, orange, cream, red tree print fabric. The neckline
of the top is very drapey, laying almost like a cowl neck.

   Sleeve Length: 25 inches

I used a black knit to create this top. The bodice of the top falls slightly under
under the bust line, then has a tighter band of fabric for the body of the top.
I added a folded over collar to the top using a cream, black, brown bark looking print cotton.
Measurements:
Bust: 38 inches and under
Waist: 36 inches and under

I used a dark brown knit as the main fabric for this top. The sleeves and
bottom hem are done in a very slightly sheer green knit. I appliqued a oak leaf
to the front side of the top using a tan knit.

I used a black knit as the main fabric for this top. The hood and bottom
hem are done in a green knit. I put a green linen leaf applique onto the front
of the top. The applique has a opening on the side, so it can be used as a small pocket.

I used a light weight green knit to make this top.
I added a celtic knot embroidery to the back using white, purple, green threads.

I used a slightly textured brown knit as the main fabric. The sleeves are done
using a fine ribbed white knit. I appliqued two maple leaves onto each sleeve
in a red knit.

I used a heathered gray sweater weight knit as the main fabric.
The bottom Hem is done in a dark green knit. The front wraps around
the bust line and is sewn into the side seams.

I used a slightly textured brown knit as the main fabric.
The cowl neck and sleeves are done in a dark&light brown striped knit.

I used a fine ribbed dark purple knit as the main fabric for this top.
The sleeve ends and bottom hem are done in a light purple knit.
I embroidered a celtic knot onto the top using light&dark purple threads.

High Collar Butterfly Top
I used a blue ribbed knit to make this top. The collar can either be worn
high buttoned up, or can be unbuttoned and lye flat. I lined the
collar in a green fleece. For the butterfly applique, I used light and
dark orange knit, also a green and brown knit.

Knit Deer Top
I used a brown ribbed knit as the main fabric for
this top. The cowl neck, sleeve ends and pocket lining are
done in a rust orange knit. I embroidered a deer and placed
it onto the pouch pocket of the shirt.

Blue Bird Cowl Neck Top I used a Dark brown ribbed knit to make this top. The neck of the top is done with two layers of the knit and hangs loosely like a cowl neck. The top is done using a reverse stitch in a brown thread. I embroidered a bird onto the front of the shirt using blue threads. The bird is sitting on a branch and leaves applique. The branch is done in a light brown thread, and the leaves are done in light and dark orange knits. The shirt is done using a reverse stitch in a red thread. The sleeve bottoms and the bottom hem are done in a brown knit. The hood is v shaped and comes down to a point. I appliqued some vines and leaves along the bottom using a light brown tread for the vine, and light and dark orange knits for the leaves. The front closes with two wood buttons. The sleeve ends, hood trim and ties are done light and dark brown knits. The top is done using a reverse stitch in a green thread. The hood is v-shaped, and ends in a long curling point. Measurements: Bust: 38" and under Length: 25" $65 ~Sold Fern Tunic I used a brown linen as the main fabric for this top. I added two v-panels to the front using a handpainted multigreen fern fabric. I appliqued two ferns onto the front using a hemp/rayon fabric. The sash is done in a green handpainted fabric. The backgrown color is a cream with green/yellow/blue being used for the flowers.I embroidered an iris and added to the front shoulder. The embroidery is done using cream, yellow and green threads. I added some green piping under the bust line.
