Dresses

On this page you will find dresses that are currently available as well as some of the most recent dresses I've designed.

I used a very soft dark green fine ribbed knit to make this dress.
The waist section of the dress is done in a fine ribbed white knit. I added
a pouch pocket to the front of the dress using the green knit. The applique
is done in a green bamboo.
Measurements:
   Bust: 36 inches lying flat
   Sleeve length: 23 inches
   hip: 36 inches lying flat

I used a off white hemp for the bodice of this dress. The back of the bodice laces up through
6 loops on the back. I added brown and cream cutaway oak leaf appliques all around the bodice.
The center of each oak leaf is stitched down to the bodice, with the edges loose, so they can curl and sway
like the real leaf would move.The skirting part of the dress is done in a cream, brown, black bark looking cotton.
Measurements:
Bust: 31-36 inches
Length: 32 inches

I used a red knit to make this dress. The neckline of the dress is cut to be very drapey,and swoops down
almost like a cowl neck. The sleeve are cut to be very drapey, and fluttery. I added two orange batik
maple leaves two the front of the dress.
Measurements:
   Bust: 32-34 inches
   Length: 39 inches
   Hips: 36-38 inches

I used a black knit to create this dress. The dress is cut with a longer bodice, drop waist style.
The sleeves are short cap sleeve style. I added four oak leaves along the neckline. The leaves
were appliqued, then cut out, and stitched down onto the knit. This gives the applique movement, and
let the applique look like a real leaf. I used cream,black, brown cotton for the leaves.

Red Leaf Knit Dress
I used a textured brown knit as the main fabric for this dress.
The bottom hem is done in a red organic cotton. I did a cutaway leaf applique
around the neckline of the dress. The applique is done in a red organic cotton.
Measurements:

I used very soft black cotton knit to make this dress. The dress has a fluttery
drop waist that starts at the hips. I added a green textured knit leaf along
the front of the dress.

Green Leaf Dress
I used a soft grass green cotton knit to make this dress. The skirting part
comes in along the hips. Around the neck I did a leaf cutaway applique. The applique
is done in a cream and green batik fabric.
Measurements:

I used a black medium weight knit to make this dress. The cap sleeves and wrap
ties are done in a dark green knit. I added a celtic knot embroidery to the back using
dark and light green threads.
Measurements:

I used a very soft cream knit for this dress. The sleeve hems, sash and hood are done in a teal blue knit.
I appliqued a vine below the hips of the dress using a brown knit and a teal knit.

I used a light green knit for the bodice of the dress. The skirting part is done
in a very soft dark green knit. The sides of the dress were inserted with a
light green leaf to look like the shape of leaves. I appliqued on a dark green
knit to the sides as the leaf veins.

I used a teal blue knit as the main fabric for this dress. The sleeve hems are done in a
white fine ribbed knit. I appliqued a vine going up the front of the dress using
a white, teal and light green knits.

I used a tan light weight knit for the bodice and bottom hem of this dress.
The skirting part of the dress is done in a dark brown knit and starts at the hips.
I added a light rust red celtic knot embroidery to the front of the dress.

I used a lightly textured green knit as the main fabric for this dress.
The sash and hemline are done in a light green knit. I embroidered small
yellow flowers along the front side of the sash. The front neckline of the
dress is encased with elastic, gathering the bodice and giving the sleeves
a slight ruffled effect.

I used a dark brown knit to make this dress. The bodice has a v neckline and ties
around the back of the neck.I added a pouch to the front of the dress using a tan knit, and
added a celtic knot embroidery using brown and teal threads.

I used a red knit as the main fabric for this dress. The bottom hem and
applique are done in a mulitcolor, brown, tan, cream, green batik. The appliques
are of oak leaves cutaway and restitched around the neckline of the dress.

Landscape Linen Dress

I used a light brown linen to make this dress.
The bodice is lined,and ties at the shoulder, and
gathers around the neckline.The dress is done in a
dropwaist style. So the bodice, and skirting meet at
the waistline.I added diagonal cut applique to the front
side of the dress.The applique is of rocks, water, and
early spring ground. I used a brown,gray, white handpainted
fabric for the ground. The rocks are done in black, gray,
brown batiks. For thewater I used a blue batik.

Falling Vine Knit Dress I used a purple ribbed knit for the bodice of the dress. The sleeve needs and skirting part of the dress are done in a green ribbed knit. The dress has a shawl collar, and I lined it in a green fleece. The leaf and vine applique starts around the shoulder and falls down the back of the dress. I used brown, light orange,and green knits for the applique. I added a removable sash, that matches the applique on the dress. This is the softest fabric I have ever felt!! I applqued a vine with flowers and leaves starting at the shulder and crawling all the way down the back of the dress. The applique is done in a brown cotton, peach batik and a pale green batik. The dress wraps in the back. The waist part of the dress is done in random patchwork. I used various shades of blues and green batiks to make up the patchwork. The dress ties around the back of the neck and has elastic encased along the back so it will fit snuggley. The bodice is done in a dark brown batik. The bottom tier is done in a fine wale brown corduroy. The dress has two attached waist ties.
